I have been Using MS Word to write my first paper and other assignments for my English class so far this semester. When typing my english assignments I have been using the header to put my name and I have been using the page number function to label the pages of my document. I have also been using MS Word in EME 2040 to create my newsletter and practice my MS Word skills for the last Skill Check. My teachers have used MS Word to upload their syllabus for the class so we can easily access it whenever we need to.
In high school all of my english teachers used a website called Turn It In for us to submit any typed assignments and wen you upload the document and submit it, the website scans the paper you submitted to check for plagiarism and copyright. As a teacher I would also use something like this to make sure my students are not copying work from others. As a teacher I would probably find instructional materials online or at least get some ideas from online and then recreate it myself. I would make my students create their own work so they are thinking creatively instead of copying from other sources.
For cyberbullying within the classroom I would take away a students access to social media platforms inside the classroom and restrict their access to seeing other students work and being able to comment on it. For decreased productivity I would tell my students that they can only have online access fi they improve their work ethic to influence them to work harder so they can be rewarded with technology in the classroom.
